Pig Mark 84. Opposite the gates of Hampton Court Palace, The Mute Swan used to be Blubeckers Restaurant but was given a complete refit in 2013 and reopened as a pub with a restaurant area upstairs. Good selection of real ales and a friendly vibe.
We visited on Sunday 17th September 2017 and the weather was just starting to rain. By the time we left it was tipping it down, hence no outside photo.
We ordered two pints of Cwtch for £9.00.

Piggy Dave: Interesting design with a pub downstairs and a restaurant on the first floor, accessible via a cast iron spiral staircase. The barman was very pleasant and chatty with a good knowledge of the beers on sale. Despite the pub being busy, we were served straight away. As there was nowhere to sit downstairs, we made our way up the spiral staircase where the restaurant staff had no issue with us sitting at a vacant table. From the restaurant area, you can see the bar below through the cut out floor so the ambience is not lost. All in all, a very pleasant experience and I will happily visit here again when in the area. Being upstairs undoubtedly helped by taking the edge off it, but even the appearance of one of the worst guitar based cover singers I’ve heard in a while did not dampen my mood.

Piggy Corin: Nice looking pub opposite the gates of Hampton Court Palace. It was very welcoming with a nice buzz about the place. Clearly popular, there were plenty of folk there without it feeling too crowded. There was a good range of six or seven ales on offer and the barman was cheerful and helpful with his recommendation. It’s a foodie pub that is very happy to accommodate just drinkers. The menu wasn’t very vegetarian friendly, but the staff were very happy to listen to suggestions and promised to pass them on to management.
