Pig Mark 84. The Goat & Tricycle is a Wadworth pub with up to eleven guest ales on offer at any time. It was created by joining together two pubs that were next to each other. I’m going to go out on a limb here and guess they were called The Goat and The Tricycle. According to the website, it is often referred to as Bournemouth’s best-kept secret, tucked away as it is along a backstreet in Bournemouth’s Triangle area. It is certainly a case of once seen, never forgotten. They also offer food from noon to 9 pm including pizzas as well as more traditional pub fare. They only serve over 18s, so not a pub to bring the kids for lunch.
Visited on Monday 27th September 2017 at 16.30. Weather was rainy.
Ordered a pint of Old Man Old Ale for £4.00.

Piggy Dave: The Goat & Tricycle is a Wadworth pub with up to eleven real ales on at any time. There were nine ales to choose from when I visited, plus a good selection of ciders in polypins behind the bar. The service was great and the staff are very happy to give samples and have a laugh with the customers. It was spacious and had a partly covered courtyard out the back. I also love their no under-18s rule as it keeps children out. Will definitely visit again when I am next in Bournemouth.

Piggy Corin: Wadworth Brewery plus guest ales and certainly had a very good selection of beers and ciders. Friendly, helpful staff and a large characterful bar containing a few locals at the back end of a wet Wednesday afternoon. Sadly I was driving but I tasted a couple of the beers and they were excellent.
