Pig Mark 64. The District Arms is the most westerly pub in Ashford since the demolition of the Dog and Partridge in 2009. It has a nice sized beer garden and a function hall.
Ordered two pints of Courage Best for £6.20.

Piggy Dave: Completely renovated from when I was last here, but not for the worse, and it was clearly a while ago as it’s looking a little tatty now. Horseshoe bar and a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Clean, wooden tables, comfy seats and a friendly clientele. Not a great selection of beer, but at £3.10 for a well-kept pint of Courage Best I’m not complaining. There is a dartboard in the pub but no pool table. The dartboard is tucked away in an alcove and when I got up to poke my head around the corner to see what was there the entire pub went silent. Not quite sure why as it didn’t appear to be a special dartboard that only locals could cast eyes upon. There didn’t seem to be any food on offer.

Piggy Corin: Only Pride or Courage Best on offer, but the Courage Best was well-kept. Friendly atmosphere when we walked in with locals at the bar but no music and one TV screen silently showing Sky Sports News. Service was immediate and helpful. The atmosphere is a bit ‘old skool’ but none the worse for that. Everything is clean and unfussy without too many modern distractions. Live football is shown here when there’s a game on Sky.
