Visited on Monday 16th October 2017 at 20.10. Weather was warm and dry.
Ordered two halves of Diamond Geezer for £4.20.

Piggy Dave: The Globe is a large Fuller’s pub with food, football and regular live cover bands at weekends. There were a few locals in when we arrived and music was playing in the background, but despite that, there seemed to be precious little atmosphere. What little there was, was destroyed completely when the music was turned off and football commentary put on instead, far too loudly for the number of customers in the place. There is cream and grey decor with wooden flooring. Beer choice is rather Pride heavy but they do have a guest ale too. Black and white sports pictures adorn the walls of the corner where we sat. The food is a bit on the pricy side but they do offer vegan (curry) and vegetarian options. There is a beer garden out the back.

Piggy Corin: Fuller’s pub with Pride, Red Fox, American Fall and one guest ale, Diamond Geezer. Large, clean and comfortable bar area showing Sky Sports silently with background music playing, but not too loud to prevent conversation – scrub that, they have just turned up the volume of Sky Sports which has ruined the atmosphere. On a Monday night, there are a few locals having a drink and others in for their dinner. Although not principally a foodie pub, there is a reasonably diverse menu with pasta, burgers and salads, with several vegetarian options too.
